History: [mostly from Wiki :-)]

Daiquiri is a family of cocktails whose main ingredients are rum, lime juice, and sugar or other sweetener. The name Daiquiri is also the name of a beach near Santiago, Cuba, and an iron mine in that area. The daiquiri was supposedly invented by an American mining engineer, named Jennings Cox, who happened to be in Cuba at the time of the Spanish-American War. Daiquiri was one of the favorite drinks of writer Ernest Hemingway and American president John F. Kennedy. The drink became popular in the 1940s.

Peach Cosmo AKA "Woo Woo"

Ingredients

2oz         Vodka
2oz         Cranberry Juice
1/2oz      Monin Peach Syrup
1            Lime
              Ice cubes

Glass type: Martini/Cocktail

My Rating: 3/5

Method:

1. Chill the Martini glass by putting some ice in it.
2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and 4-5 ice cubes, shake vigorously. Stop when the shaker is ice cold, over doing it will dilute the drink.
3. Remove the ice from the Martini glass and strain the content of the shaker into the glass.
4. Garnish with a slice of orange or lime.

Note: The classic peach cosmo does not have lime, added it for a slight sour flavor
